Why this exists

Commerce Deployed Engineering (CDE) is a specialized function where engineering teams embed directly with customers to accelerate adoption, solve critical issues in real time, and ensure solutions are generalizable for the broader platform. By working closely with early adopters, CDE bridges the gap between customer needs and core product evolution, driving both successful go-lives and platform hardening at scale.

Our goal is to accelate adoption of ACCS and acheive the goal to Acquire and onboard 50 ACCS and/or ACO customers.


What changes

  • Embedded Engineering Partnership: CDE engineers operate within customer projects to directly address blockers, accelerate implementations, and ensure business-critical outcomes.
  • Reusable Outcomes: Learnings and solutions are captured and generalized, strengthening the ACCS platform for all customers.
  • Rapid Resolution Model: Immediate customer-facing issues are prioritized for fast turnaround, while systemic items feed into the engineering backlog.

What we don't do

  • build bespoke solutions or customizations for individual customers
  • work directly in SI/partner code repos or modify customer code in any way
  • provide project management or program management services
  • provide long-term, post-launch support

How this works

  • Customer Engagements: CDE teams are actively deployed across early-adopter customers and Adobe Consulting Services (ACS) engagements.
  • Customer Profiles: Coverage spans B2B and B2C use cases, across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers.
